In 2008 she threw her backpack on and became a volunteer. What would initially be a nine stage months became nine years of work pioneering socio-sanitary projects to support vulnerable groups in sub-Saharan Africa<\/strong>. Since 2010, she has been obsessed with improving the lives of people with albinism in Africa.<\/p>\n

In 2016 she returned to Europe and co-founded Beyond Suncare. With one or two annual surgical-training trips to Tanzania in the last ten years, she lived closely and witnessed the birth of the first sunscreen made specifically for people with albinism produced in Africa.<\/p>\n

With a multidisciplinary profile specialising in the management and fundraising of high social impact projects<\/strong>, in 2020 she took a master’s degree in international cooperation that led her to collaborate with different causes in the fields of human rights and social transformation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2023 he discovered Beyond Suncare’s mission and decided to move to Malawi<\/strong> to supervise the organisation’s programme on the ground. Prior to joining Beyond Suncare at the beginning of 2025, she led key efforts in health logistics and stakeholder engagement to support HIV diagnosis and service delivery across Malawi.<\/p>\n
